Oh snap, here’s the new SPACE DISEASE record!! This was recorded in exactly ONE week, as per the parameters of Project168, the UK-based gentlemen’s club wherein musicians make an album in exactly ONE week. This is my fourth record for P168, and the first one where I didn’t cheat a tiny bit :-0
Be sure and check out the other records on P168 once they’re all sorted and uploaded (should be a week or so till then). And let me know if you’re feelin’ this one. Not a lot of comments up in this piece :-/
I am finally done with the second Wreck Tech record, but I’m going to hold off on releasing the entire thing for a while. In the interim I’ll continue releasing/streaming tracks from Wrefix Two and related dubs while I work on getting the next Knifeshow mixtape (and EP) out.
This one’s got lazered-out synth throbs over a delay-heavy Gucci Mane acapella. The frequencies are stacked heavy in favor of loud, bassy club use, so if yr rockin earbuds it may fall flat. On the flipside, if you have impressive bassbins or sexy tweeters, get on it.
Finally, some updates in this piece. Lots of new Wreck Tech mp3s on the way (Wrefix #2 is finished!), but first…

We’re teaming up with the Powerstrip Circus blog/crew/label for a night of bass-ery. We’re psyched to work with these guys; I love Full Service, but it’ll be fun to narrow the sound a bit for bass cadets. The guys from PSC & Code of Arms will hold down the first 1/2, with your boyz Knifeshow takin the evening home. OH JAIS.
This is definitely one of my most popular original tracks that I play out. Unfortunately, it’s built with pieces of a balls-out homophobic vocal about hanging gay people. Such is the conundrum of the sensitive dancehall enthusiast: do I play / post / promote this song even though its about killing gay guys (even if the dancefloor can’t understand patois)? A lot of more articulate people have discussed this elsewhere, so for now I’ll just say: context aside, this one is fire. One of my most likely contenders these days to be pressed onto a dubplate / solid state mastered for club destruction.
This is actually a remix of Wreck Tech - Stop Calling, available at the
An oldie but a goodie, I first united this dubstep classic (Kode 9’s ‘Nine Samurai’) with the “Two Sides” accapella for the Full Service: Raev of the Dead last year…its pretty Halloween-y (plus I added that “TOTAL TERROR” sample somewhere in there).
Before I go to sleep I gotta post this incredible video from dj mushOne’s When Dance Was Nice event at his Al Paragus HQ. I love the single dramatically lit turntable and the delicate needle drop wheels.
I’ve been in a crap mood this week so i’m posting this old unreleased Space Disease track created long ago in a Bethlehem PA attic by broody 16-year-old Me. This is THE FIRST of the long long lost Space Disease back catalog that’s being unearthed digitally.
Pardon the crazy (read: clippy) mastering but this is when i didn’t know anything (so i could do anything). Just look at what i make the waveform do!! I dunno how I did that.
this is dedicated to my g-ma and named appropriately. nothing i was making in the present really felt right for this.
A sorta repetitive, slow, lurker of a riddim for you. Any MCs out there that want to bless this, get on it. We’re gonna try to get this around Forum Land soon in search of just that. This is originally from the knifeshow homepage.
